Prof. Chung is a Jade Mountain Chair professor (Yushan Scholar) at the Graduate Institute of Applied Science and Technology of NTUST, Taiwan. Before joining NTUST, he was a Provost’s Chair Professor at the ChBE department of NUS in 2011-2021. His research focuses on polymeric membranes for clean water, clear air, clear energy and pharmaceutic separation. In 2005-2008, he worked as a Senior Consultant for Hyflux, led and built its membrane research team. He became a Fellow in the Academy of Engineering Singapore in 2012 and received the Underwood Medal from IChemE (Institute of Chemical Engineers, UK) for exceptional research in separations and Singapore President’s Technology Award in 2015. Paulo C. DE MORAIS, PhD, was full Professor of Physics at the University of Brasilia (UnB) – Brazil up to 2013, Appointed as UnB’s Emeritus Professor (2014), Appointed as Guest Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology– China (2011), Visiting Professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) – China (2012-2015), Appointed as Distinguished Professor at Anhui University (AHU) – China (2016-2019), Appointed as Full Professor at Catholic University of Brasília (UCB) – Brazil (2018), Appointed as CNPq-1A Research Fellowship since 2010, 2007 Master Research Prize from UnB, 2008-member of the European ERA NET Nanoscience Committee, Member of the IEEE-Magnetic Society Technical Committee, Senior Member of the IEEE Society, 2012 China’s 1000 Foreign Expert Recipient, and 2012 Academic Excellence Award from Brazilian Professor’s Union. He has served as referee for more than 50 technical journals, takes part of the Editorial Board of more than 15 technical journals and has conducted research on nanomaterials for over 40 years. He has delivered more than 150 Invited Talks all over the World. He is known for his research in preparation, characterization and applications of nanosized materials (magnetic fluid, magnetoliposome, magnetic nanoemulsion, magnetic nanocapsule, magnetic nanofilm, magnetic nanocomposite, nanosized semiconductors, polymeric dots, carbon dots, and graphene quantum dots). With nearly 500 published papers in peer reviewed journals, over 12,000 citations and 15 patents, he has appeared in recent World ranking of top 1% scientists, such as 2020-Stanford, 2022-Research.com, and 2023-AD Scientific Index.

Professor Vladimir G. Chigrinov is Professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since 1999. He is an Expert in Flat Panel Technology in Russia, recognized by the World Technology Evaluation Centre, 1994, and SID Fellow since 2008. He is an author of 6 books, 31 reviews and book chapters, about 322 journal papers, more than 677 Conference presentations, and 121 patents and patent applications including 38 US patents in the field of liquid crystals since 1974. He got Excellent Research Award of HKUST School of Engineering in 2012. He obtained Gold Medal and The Best Award in the Invention & Innovation Awards 2014 held at the Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2014, which was hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 20-22 Feb 2014. He is a Member of EU Academy of Sciences (EUAS) since July 2017. He got A Slottow Owaki Prize of SID in 2018 http://www.ee.ust.hk/ece.php/enews/detail/660. He is 2019 Distinguished Fellow of IETI (International Engineering and Technology Institute). Since 2018 he works as Professor in the School of Physics and Optoelectronics Engineering in Foshan University, Foshan, China. 2020-2024 Vice President of Fellow of Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IDSAI) Since 2021 distinguished Fellow of Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Since March 2022 he is A Fellow of National Academy of Technology for his contributions to Information Electrical and Electronic Research.

Professor Raman Singh’s primary research interests are in the relationship of Nano-/microstructure and Environment-assisted degradation and fracture of metallic and composite materials, and Nanotechnology for Advanced Mitigation of such Degradations. He has also worked extensively on use of advanced materials (e.g., graphene) for corrosion mitigation, stress corrosion cracking, and corrosion and corrosion-mitigation of magnesium alloys (including for the use of magnesium alloys for aerospace, defence and bioimplant applications). Prof Singhis a senior professor at Monash University, Australia. He is a Guest Professor at ETH Zurich, Switzerland (2020, 2023, 2024), US Naval Research Lab, Indian Institute of Science, and University of Connecticut. He worked as a scientist at Indian Atomic Energy and as a post-doc fellow at University of New South Wales, Australia. Prof Singh’s professional distinctions and recognitions include: Guest Professor of ETH Zurich, Editor of a book on Cracking of Welds (CRC Press), Lead Editor of a book on Non-destructive Evaluation of Corrosion (Wiley), Editor-in-Chief of an Elsevier and an MDPI journals, leader/chairperson of a few international conferences and numerous plenary/keynote lectures at international conferences, over 285 peer-reviewed international journal publications and 15 book chapter, and several competitive research grants (that includes 4 Discovery, 7 Linkage and one ITRH grants of Australian Research Council). Prof Singh has supervised 60 PhD students. His vibrant research group at Monash University comprises of PhD students from different disciplines (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials and Mining Engineering, and Science) as well as from different cultural backgrounds (Australian, Middle-eastern, Chinese, Malaysian, Indian, African, North American and Israeli).

Prof. Dr. Delia Teresa Sponza is currently working as a professor at DokuzEylül University, Department of Environmental Engineering. Currently, Prof. Dr. Hosam Bayoumi Hamuda is working at Obuda University, Sandor Rejto Faculty of Light Industry and Environmental Engineering, Institute of Environmental Engineering and Natural Sciences (Budapest, Hungary) since 2008. He was Senior Researcher and Deputy Director of Research Group for Environmental Microbiology of Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Budapest) between 1997 and 2004. Briefly, He received the degrees of B.Sc. (1978, Chemistry and Botany), M.Sc. (Biological Sciences) from Garyounis University (Benghazi, Libya), University Doctor (1987, Agricultural Sciences Soil Microbiology) and PhD in Biological Sciences (1999) from Gödöllő University of Agricultural Sciences (Gödöllő, Hungary) and C.Sc. in Biological Sciences (1994) from Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest, Hungary. He received the Doctor Habilitation Degree in Environmental Sciences (2007) and the Professor degree from Szent István University (2008, Gödöllő, Hungary). Also, University Doctor Degree in Natural Sciences from Eötvös Loránd University (1995, Budapest). Prof. Hamuda was awarded many times from different organisations, e.g., the Society of Hungarian Microbiologists (MMT), the Hungarian Professors Council (MPV), etc. and he is a member of many Hungarian and International Organisations. Prof. Hamuda was the general secretory and now is the president of International Council of Environmental Engineering Education (ICEEE) originated since 2010 (Budapest, Hungary) and Member of the International Society of Development and Sustainability (Japan), Society of MMT, Soil Science and Agrochemistry Committee of the Agricultural Sciences Department of IV of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Budapest) and Association of Hungarian Medical Societies (MOTESZ) and others. He was the director of MSc program titled: Microbial Science and Biotechnology (Szent István University, Gödöllő, Hungary) from 2000 to 2008 and Director of PhD Program titled: Agricultural-, Environmental Microbiology and Soil Biotechnology until from 2007 to 2015 and now a member of the Environmental Sciences Doctor’s School at Szent István University and Doctoral School on Materials Sciences and Technologies at Obuda University. Prof. Hamuda is acting as editorial member, reviewer of many international journals, and he organize many international conferences and symposiums. He received his PhD on applied physics from Harvard University in 1968. He spent 25 years in IBM T. J. Watson Research Center as Research Staff Member as well as Senior Manager of Materials Science Dept. in Physical Science Dept. before he joined UCLA as a full professor in 1993. He retired in 2016 from UCLA as a Distinguished Emeritus Professor. Then, he went to Taiwan and became TSMC Chair Professor as well as an E-Sun Scholar in National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University in Hsinchu for 4 years. Now, he is a Chair Professor in Dept. of Materials Science and Engineering as well as Dept. of Electrical Engineering in City University of Hong Kong. He is a member of Academia Sinica, Taiwan. Also, he is an editor of the journal, Nanomaterials. His research interest has been about metal-silicon reactions, solder joint reactions, atomic layer reactions in nanowires, micro bump reactions in 3D IC, kinetic theory in nanoscale materials, electro migration, reliability issues in advanced packaging technology, and Nano-scale materials and technology such as Nano-TSV.

Prof. Abdelbaki Benamor from Gas Processing Center of Qatar University holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering since 2003. He has over 20 years of research experience in CO2 capture and utilization technologies and water/wastewater treatment. He has successfully secured more than $4.2 million as research and industry grants in collaboration with international institutions in Europe, Asia and North America. He has over 100 journal publications. He has a Google H-index of 37 and more than 4600 citations.

Dr Woo has a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering, and he has obtained PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M. He majors in energy system such as HVAC and its heat transfer, optimal design and control of refrigerator, reliability design of thermal components, and failure Analysis of thermal components in marketplace using the Non-destructive such as SEM & XRAY. In 1992.03–1997 he worked in Agency for Defense Development, Chinhae, South Korea, where he has researcher in charge of Development of Naval weapon System. He was working as a Senior Reliability Engineer in Refrigerator Division, Digital Appliance, SAMSUNG Electronics. Now he is working as associate professor in mechanical department, Ethiopian Technical University.

Dr. Janusz Kozinski has enjoyed a distinguished academic career in leading institutions in the USA, Europe, and Canada. He is an internationally-renowned higher education leader, researcher and entrepreneur, and one of the world’s most widely acknowledged experts in sustainable energy systems. He received the Gold Medal in 2022 at the Ontario Professional Engineers Awards Gala and the 2023 Gold Medal from Engineers Canada.

Prof. Štich got his PhD. in condensed matter physics in Trieste, Italy in 1989. He worked at Cavendish Laboratory, in U.K. where in 1991 he ported, for the first time, plane-wave psedopotential calculations onto parallel computers. In 1994 he joined the Joint Research Center for Atom Technology in Tsukuba, Japan. He got his full professorship in solid state physics at the Slovak Technical University in 2003. In addition to density functional techniques, he also works in many-body electronic structure, such as Quantum Monte Carlo. 2007-2011 he served as director of the Institute of Physics, Slovak Academy of Sciences. From 2011 he is head of the Center for Computational Materials Science at the Institute of Informatics, SAS. His current interests are in surface probe techniques (AFM, STM) and 2D systems.

Mr. Narongchai Kanhanond, a Ph.D. candidate at VISTEC, specializes in metal complexes for catalyst development, focusing on Ring-Opening Polymerization and Copolymerization of cyclic esters. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Chulalongkorn University. Narongchai's research journey includes an internship at the University of Vienna and undergraduate research on controlled release polymers. Currently, his Ph.D. work at VISTEC involves synthesizing novel aluminum complexes for polymerization applications. Beyond research, he has served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Chulalongkorn University and received honors such as the His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn Scholarship. Dr Bashir is an Assistant Professor at Govt. Degree College Sopore Kashmir. He has been teachin chemistry for last 14 years. He has worked as lecturer at University of Kashmir, North campus Baramulla Kashmir, as Assistant Professor at Maulana Azad College Aurangabad, as Visiting Lecturer (Post Graduate Department of Chemistry, Vasantroa Nayak College, of Science Aurangabad Maharastra India, Senior Research Fellow IIIM Jammu, as Junior Research Fellow IIIM Jammu and as Junior Research Fellow (IICT Hyderabad). Dr. Dmitry Korolev received a PhD degree of physical chemistry in 2012, G.A. Krestov Institute of Solution Chemistry of RAS. 2012-2021 he worked as senior researcher in Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology and Institute of Aviation Materials of the NRC «Kurchatov Institute». In 2021 received degree of Doctor of physics and mathematics in Federal Research Center of Problems of Chemical Physics and Medicinal Chemistry of RAS. Currently, he is a Lead manager in Department of technological innovations of MMC Norilsk Nickel. His research focus lies in R&D of palladium-based materials for chemical, water treatment and spintronic industries.

Mr. Suresh Aluvihara completed his postgraduate studies in 2023 at the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka, a globally recognized institution. His research during this period spanned various fields such as Environmental Engineering, Material Engineering, Water Treatments, Pollution Control Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. Prior to this, he earned his undergraduate degree in 2017 from a distinguished government university in Sri Lanka, with a specialization in Earth Science and related disciplines. With a strong research and academic background, Mr. Aluvihara has authored more than 75 publications in reputable journals, international conferences, and workshops, encompassing full papers, conference proceedings, and abstracts, which have garnered significant citations.
